Works are currently underway to stabilise a landslip adjacent to the St Helena water main to protect this critical section of pipeline on Rous’ network.

In 2023, Rous completed its $29 million capital works project to improve the pipeline in St Helena, which provides reliable and high-quality drinking water to the coastal areas within Rous’ network.

This repair project will see drainage improved and the slope rebuilt and stabilised to protect the major pipeline, especially during severe weather events.

The $1 million is being delivered by NSW Public Works and is anticipated to be completed later in 2025.

Rous would like to thank NSW Public Works and NSW Reconstruction Authority for helping to repair, rebuild and improve flood damaged infrastructure in the Northern Rivers.
