Rous has made the difficult decision to permanently close its office at 20 Conway Street, Lismore, prioritising the safety of staff and customers.

Customer Service operations were being provided from this location ahead of Rous’ planned relocation to Ballina in 2026.

However, due to an increasing number of safety concerns around the area, and after thoroughly exploring all available options, the decision was made to close the office earlier than originally intended.

While the office in Conway Street is closed, Rous remains committed to serving the community.

Customers are encouraged to continue contacting Customer Service by phone on (02) 6623 3800 or via email at council@rous.nsw.gov.au. Face-to-face assistance will be available by appointment only.
