If you’d like to set up a new connection to a property, please call (02) 6623 3800 and we will assist you.
If you have just bought a property with an existing water connection supplied by Rous, your solicitor needs to send us a Water Service Application form. You need to agree to the terms and conditions as outlined in the Standards and Conditions of Retail Water Supply.
Council will transfer the water account for the property into your name once confirmation regarding the change of ownership is received from the NSW Land Registry Service.
Renters
If you are renting a property, there is nothing you need to do.
The water supply remains connected to the property and the water account remains in the property owner’s name.
