The story of three organisations coming together to take care of what matters for the Northern Rivers.
Stronger together
In 2016, Rous Water, Far North Coast Weeds and Richmond River County Council consolidated into one organisation – Rous. Rous now manages the water supply, weed biosecurity, and rural flood mitigation for Ballina, Byron, Lismore, and Richmond Valley regions. We also manage the weed biosecurity for Kyogle and Tweed regions.
