Improving the health of the Richmond River estuary: Draft Scoping Study

Northern Rivers councils are taking a whole-catchment approach to develop a new long-term strategy to protect and improve the health of the Richmond River estuary. Once complete, the Coastal Management Program (CMP) will include actions to restore and maintain the ecological sustainability of the Richmond River estuary.

Hydrosphere Consulting has now prepared a draft Stage 1 Scoping Study and they are asking for the community's feedback.

The Study identifies knowledge gaps and outlines how the new CMP will be developed and the community engagement process.

Download the scoping study and provide your feedback online at www.hydrosphere.com.au/richmondrivercmp

Submissions close 5pm Friday, 16 December 2022.
