Development Servicing Plan (DSP) for Bulk Water Supply 2023

Rous County Council's DSP for Bulk Water Supply 2023 (effective 1 July 2023) covers water supply developer charges for the provision of water supply services.

The DSP for Bulk Water applies to the whole area serviced by the Rous County Council bulk water supply scheme in the local government areas of:

• Ballina Shire Council, excluding Wardell;
• Byron Shire Council, excluding Mullumbimby;
• Lismore City Council, excluding Nimbin; and
• Richmond Valley Council, excluding Casino and all land west of Coraki.

The document has been prepared in accordance with the Developer Charges Guidelines for Water Supply, Sewerage and Stormwater (2016) issued by Department of Water and Energy pursuant to section 306(3) of the Water Management Act 2000.

Development Servicing Plan (DSP) for Retail Water Supply 2023

Rous County Council's DSP for Retail Water Supply 2023 (effective 1 July 2023) covers water supply developer charges for the provision of water supply services.

The DSP for Retail Water applies to all properties with direct connection to the Rous County Council water supply scheme.

The document has been prepared in accordance with the Developer Charges Guidelines for Water Supply, Sewerage and Stormwater (2016) issued by Department of Water and Energy pursuant to section 306(3) of the Water Management Act 2000.
