As a result of the introduction of the Disability Inclusion Act 2014, Rous approved its first Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP) on 21 June 2017.

The DIAP is a strategic plan designed to support the community through recognising and removing barriers to access and inclusion wherever possible.

The intended audience is anyone who is interested in seeing how Rous intends to increase access to its sites and services. This may particularly include persons with a disability, their families and carers.

Who approves the DIAP?

How often will the plan be reviewed and updated?

Every four years.

How will I know if Rous is achieving the objectives it set for itself in the DIAP?
