In accordance with section 236 of the Local Government (General) Regulation 2021 (NSW), Council is required to make publicly available on its website an audio- or audio-visual recording of each Council meeting for a minimum of 12 months following the meeting.

Council retains the copyright in the audio or audio-visual recordings and prescribes the following conditions on their use:

  • The audio or audio-visual recordings must not be used for - 
    • Political party advertising
    • Election campaigns
    • Satire or ridicule, or
    • Commercial sponsorship or commercial advertising.
  • The audio or audio-visual recordings may only be used or shared in the complete and unaltered state in which they are provided below.

Council accepts no liability for loss or damage arising from the use of the audio or audio-visual recordings, including (but not limited to) loss or damage arising from any defamatory comments made by persons in attendance at Council meetings.
